  17. Some people are having trouble running X Mosaic 0.5 on Suns running
  18. X11R5.  The problem is apparently that we accidentally dynamically
  19. linked in the X libraries but statically linked the Motif library, so
  20. if you're running R5 on a Sun the Motif library is apparently being
  21. thrown for a loop when it gets hooked up with the R5 libraries and
  22. isn't expecting it.  In the future, all Sun X libraries will be
  23. statically linked.

  25. In the meantime, downgrade your Suns to X11R4 :-).

  27. 0.6 oughta be out real soon now; a list of things changed as of this
  28. moment follows...

  30. History window now shows both 'where you've been' and
  31.   'where you can go'.
  32. Previously visited nodes are colored differently, a la Midaswww;
  33.   this global history is automatically persistent across sessions.
  34. New resources for customization, including:
  35.   Show URLs instead of Document Titles.
  36.   Customize window per document feature.
  37.   Optionally have pointer and focus warp to keyword entry field
  38.     when you reach a searchable node.
  39.   Optionally turn off global history mechanism.
  40. Button2 can now activate anchors; forces a new window
  41.   to open (as with Window Per Document feature).
  42. Going from a document necessarily wider than the window
  43.   (e.g. preformatted text) to a normal document will now
  44.   get rid of the horizontal spacebar and reformat properly.
  45. Addition of Whine option under Help.
  46. Addition of Go To and Go To Local options under Navigate.
  47. <listing> is now recognized.
  48. Numeric character references (e.g. <) are now handled.
  49. Anchors without href's aren't colored anymore.
  50. Memory leak in document reformatting nailed.
  51. Layout glitches fixed.
  52. Better help.
  53. Other misc bugfixes and cleanups.
